How do I become a consignor?

New consignors will need to schedule an In Store Appointment with us. We must take at least 5 items to open an account.

After your first successful In Store Appointment, you are welcome to Drop & Go or At-Home consignment options. Learn more about the process here.

What is the consigner payout structure?

In Store Appointments and Drop & Gos are 50% Paloma and 50% Consignor.

At-Home Appointments are 60% Paloma and 40% Consignor.

How long do you have my items and what happens after this period? 

Items will be on the sales floor for 90 days with a 20% markdown after the first month and a 40% markdown in the final month. After 90 days, consignors will be emailed and asked to pick up any remaining merchandise if you did not request donation. 

Any items left after 2 weeks become the property of Paloma Consignment and may be donated to charity.

How do I get paid for my items that sell?

Direct deposit payments will be issued on a monthly basis for items sold during the previous month. You can keep up with your items on your consignor portal, which will be set up during your first appointment.

How do you set pricing?

Pricing is set based on a careful analysis of brand, condition, season, and current market demand. We typically price items at 30–50% of original retail price.

Handbags and jewelry are priced closer to 60–70% of original retail, reflecting their lasting value and resale demand.

How new do my items need to be?

Clothing must be current (preferably in stores in the last 2-3 years), clean, in excellent or gently used condition, free of stains, holes & pet hair. 

Do you accept vintage, suiting or bridal?

We do not accept any of the above unless it is new with tags or luxury items such as Chanel. 

Do you accept activewear and swimwear?

Yes! We accept brand new (with or without tags) and gently used activewear free of stains, holes, or odor. Brands we love include Alo, Lululemon, Beyond Yoga, Free People Movement and Vuori. 

We also accept swimwear - again, either new with tags or gently used.

What accessories do you accept?

We accept most accessories categories including sunglasses, jewelry, wallets, scarfs, hats...

Do you accept returns?

Due to the structure of consignment, Paloma does not accept returns, all sales are final.
